The purpose of the competition is the renovation of the former Tribunal de Grandes Instances de Bobigny, located on land adjoining Parc de la Bergère and adjacent to the banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq.

The rehabilitation of the former TGI building is the opportunity to rethink the development of a two hectare plot, its transformation and its links with its surroundings and nearby territory.
A large forecourt is the focal point of the project and opens onto the park. It allows the old tribunal, conserved and renovated with cultural spaces, to be the setting for an eco-friendly hotel, restaurant terraces, river based activities of transporting people and small scale logistics, and premises for SMEs and crafts activities. An urban agriculture and bio waste composting program is located west of the site adjacent to the park.
